RAMOJI FILM CITY

Ramoji Film City is an integrated film studio facility located in Abdullahpurmet, Hyderabad, India. Spread over 1,666 acres it is the largest film studio complex in the world and as such has been certified by the Guinness World Records. It was established by Telugu media tycoon Ramoji Rao in 1996. The Guardian described Ramoji Film City as a "city within a city. People can visit the film sets, theme parks, amusement rides, etc. The film city also has the set used for the films Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017); all the statues and props used in the films can be seen here. Around 1.5 million tourists visit the place every year.

HUSSAIN SAGAR LAKE

If you are looking for a quiet and calm evening in Hyderabad, you must visit the Hussain Sagar Lake! Built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali in the year 1562, it was once the primary water source to the city and now serves as an important tourist destination as well as a major sailing destination in the country. Enjoying the beauty of this lake and its magnificent view is something that should not be missed by any tourist of Hyderabad. Within the lake, there stands a 32ft high statue of Gautam Buddha that enhances the charm and appeal of the lake.

MAKKAH MASJID

The grand Makkah Masjid is within the old city limits. With the foundation laid by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah, who brought soil from Mecca (or Makkah), the holiest place for the Muslims; this sacred masjid in Hyderabad is located within proximity of the Chowmahalla Palace and Charminar. Bricks used in the construction were made from Mecca and thus it got its name.

ISKCON HYDERABAD SRI SRI RADHA MADANMOHAN MANDIR

Hyderabad is the South Indian headquarters for ISKCON in India. The magnificent Sri Sri Radha-Madana-Mohana temple at Nampally Station Road, inaugurated by Swami Prabhupada, will serve as a centre of the cultural, spiritual, educational, and social activities given to uplift the lives of people here. ISKCON Hyderabad is introducing for the first time in South India its major 600-acre community farming project, 40 kilometres from Hyderabad, to benefit about 20,000 villages. Besides regular free nutritional food distribution program, ISKCON is also planning to set up a model high-yielding 600-cow dairy farm, handloom centres, nature-cure hospital, and Gurukal school project.

HARE KRISHNA GOLDEN TEMPLE

The Majestic Hare Krishna Golden Temple is the 1st Golden Temple in Telangana, and this Transcendental temple of the Lord has 50 ft Golden Dhwaja Stambh, 4600 sqft Maha Mandapam and 5 golden stairs Rajagopuram. About 700 years back the Lord manifested himself as Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Road No. 12 Banjara Hills. Along with Lord Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, Lord Shiva also self-manifested himself as Swayambhu Sri Panchajanyeshwara Swamy at the same place. The uniqueness of Lord's manifestation at this place is that the Lord and his eternal consort Sri Lakshmi Devi are in a self-manifest standing posture where Lord Narasimhadev appears in a blissful divine state and Mother Lakshmi Devi is mercifully showing her Abhaya Hastha and blessing all the Devotees. The Temple has a rare Saligrama (Shaligrama or Salagrama) shilakept in the Garbhalayam of the presiding deity Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.

B.M. BIRLA PLANETARIUM

Birla Planetarium a wing of the B.M. Birla Science Centre at Hyderabad is a large planetarium near the Government of India tourist office providing a virtual tour of the stars and the solar system. It is located near the famous tourist attraction Birla Mandir at the center of the city, on the small hill known as Naubat Pahad. It was inaugurated by the Late Mr. N.T. Rama Rao, on 8 September 1985. This planetarium displays and demonstrates the advances in science and technology. There are another two Birla Planetariums. The planetariums hold sky shows every day at different times in different languages. The show covers the various aspects of the Cosmos, Space, Solar System, Galaxies, Comets, Eclipses, The Hubble Space Telescope and the mysterious UFOs.
